Gomez and Blanco receive nominations for their work on Only Murders in the Building

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have both received Primetime Emmy Award nominations for their work on the hit Hulu series Only Murders in the Building. Gomez is nominated in the Best Comedy Series category as a producer of the show, while Blanco is nominated in the Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics category for co-writing the show's theme song, "Theme from Only Murders in the Building".

This is Gomez's first Primetime Emmy Award nomination. She has previously been nominated for a Golden Globe Award and a Critics' Choice Award for her work on Only Murders in the Building.

Blanco has previously been nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in the Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics category for his work on the song "I'm Gonna Love You" from the film Rio 2.
